step 1: open up the brackets ( rmb to flip the signs )

step 2: bring 'a' to one side and the numbers to the other

6a + 34 = -3(-2a + 8)

6a + 34 = 6a - 24

6a - 6a = -24 - 34

0 = - 58

the final ans is kind of weird but here's my solution :))
