The slope is D. -3

Why: The slope is what is connected to the x ( the variable ) or the thing that is increasing. The 8 is the initial value which is where the line would start on the y intercept on a graph. There for the -3 in the equation y = -3x+8 is the slope. Think, which is connected to the x or whatever letter is shown.
