You can change a decimal into a fraction and turn a fraction into a decimal. Fractions and decimals can be equivalent, such as .5 and 1/2

lets say we have the fraction 4/5 if you divide 4 by 5 you get a/the decimal 0.8. that is how fractions and decimals are related.
