9+2(|4x−3|)=19

2(|4x−3|)+9=19

Add -9 to both sides.

2(|4x−3|)+9+−9=19+−9

2(|4x−3|)=10

Divide both sides by 2.

2(|4x−3|)/2=10/2

|4x−3|=5

Solve Absolute Value.

|4x−3|=5

4x−3=5 or 4x−3=−5

4x−3=5

4x−3+3=5+3(Add 3 to both sides)

4x=8

4x/4=8/4(Divide both sides by 4)

x=2

4x−3=−5

4x−3+3=−5+3(Add 3 to both sides)

4x=−2

4x/4=−2/4(Divide both sides by 4)

x=−1/2
