You can find the ionic charges by multiplying the subscripts together then dividing by the subscript of each atom.

2 x 3 = 6

Fe: 6/2 = 3
O: 6/3 = 2

The metal is always the cation (+) and the nonmetal is always the anion (-)

So Fe: 3+
O: 2-
